For almost 100 years, the students at the University of Michigan Medical School have written, directed, and produced a rollicking send-up of the faculty called, "The Smoker" staged every year at the university's historic Lydia Mendelssohn Theatre.  In the tradition of a musical revue, we parody our beloved teachers while acting, singing, dancing, and dressing up as giant genitalia. As a writer, producer, and secret director, I co-managed a budget of over $30,000, a cast of 170+, and supervised the building of an extensive set.
